Accenture Acquires Gevity to Strengthen Capabilities of Healthcare Transformation Services in Canada

Accenture has acquired Gevity, a strategy and service provider focused on helping healthcare clients transform their business with new technology solutions, to expand its capacity to provide healthcare change services in Canada and the country.

Headquartered in Victoria, BC, Gevity was founded in 1995 and has grown into a medical consulting firm with a team of up to 100 professionals and staff across Canada supporting global clients. Gevity works closely with healthcare development teams, from public and private employers and donors to healthcare organizers and teams.

The single firm provides local healthcare clients with services on a variety of topics such as healthcare system integration, information, and analytics, as well as system implementation and program management. Gevity also leads clients through digital transformation and the implementation of information processing systems. Additionally, Gevity provides methods and tools that have the potential to support your operations, including project management and scheduling, team collaboration, and health information. The main difference of Gevity is its use by a team of collaborators that includes personnel with experience in hospital work, crafts, and planning in healthcare settings.

Jeffrey Russell, President of Accenture Canada, said: “The addition of Gevity will expand our ability to provide healthcare change services in Canada and other global markets.” “Gevity’s award-winning team and its track record of success combined with Accenture’s national mission and strong environmental change and partnership work will strengthen us from coast to coast. Additionally, Accenture’s access status will lead to a range of assistive health technologies that will put public health at the center to improve access, experience, and outcomes. “

Jane Kerr, general manager and a team of Canadian business leaders leading infrastructure, regional health, and public health at Accenture, said: “The COVID-19 pandemic has required healthcare teams to improve their technology systems reduce the cost of living looking to make big changes. “

In addition to its headquarters in Victoria, Gevity has people in Canada and Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia, as well as the United States and the Philippines, who will participate in Accenture.

Marc Koehn, President of Gevity added, “For the past 25 years, Gevity has been focused on fulfilling its mission to make the world healthier by helping customers improve the future.”

Gevity is Accenture Canada’s second acquisition in 2021 to strengthen its strength and power in the Canadian market. In July, Accenture acquired Cloudworks, a leading Toronto-based provider of Oracle Cloud services. In 2020, Accenture acquired Avenai, an Ottawa consultancy focused on utility partners, as well as Callisto Integration, Oakville, Ontario, a consultancy in digital manufacturing and technology, food and beverage, chemical, infrastructure, and other businesses.
